I have a lump that comes up on my left clavical at sternum, it is there in the morning but goes down after few hours. It has been doing this for about a 8 weeks. Now there is pain in my arm at the deltoid and sometimes in my neck. I am a 52 yo healthy woman.
Hi ! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query.
It might not be possible to suggest a diagnosis of your problem without a personal clinical examination of the lump when it occurs. Therefore I would advise you to see your family physician/general surgeon while the lump is there, who after a clinical examination might also suggest you some investigations like an ultrasound/MRI of the area and an FNAC if need be to arrive at a definite diagnosis. Further management would depend on the results of the investigations. I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.
Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. Wishing you an early recovery. Dr Shareef.
