What Is The Lump That Appears On The Groin Area?

Two weeks ago a lump appeared in the groin area but then disappeared; it had now reappeared in almost the same spot. My husband suggests I see a doctor but this lump had appeared at least ten years ago and disappeared and approximately did the same thing three years ago. The lump is hard to touch and not painful.

Hi.
The recurrent swelling in the same area can be a hernia- but it would have increased in so many years.
So the most probable cause is a Lymph node. Get examined by a Doctor as to confirm what it is and more important to find why - meaning is there a source of infection in the drainage area of the lymph node.
