Hi,
Welcome to HCM!

HBcAg refers to Hepatits B Antigen while HBcAb refers to Hepatitis B Antibody.

Presence of HBcAb in the body indicates that the patient is suffering from or has previously suffered from Hepatitis B Infection, which is a potentially fatal infection of the Liver caused by Hepatitis virus.

Hope this information helps. Feel free to ask if you have any doubt.

With warm regards,
Dr. Sridhar Reddy
