Occular migraines. MRI shows a small focus of T2 and FLAIR signal hyper intensity within subcortical white matter of high frontal lobe which may represent minimal chronic microvascular ishemic change or sequela of migraine headaches. What does this mean?

Hi,
Your MRI scan brain report points to a small area in the frontal lobe (above the eyes) area of brain where there might have been slightly reduced blood supply anytime in the past leading to tissue injury. It is associated with old age and diabetes frequently. There is nothing to worry but consultation with neurologist is suggested.
