i have had a constant headache for 3 months which is getting worse, the pain is unbearable. i suffer pain in my neck, pins and needles and occassionally my head feels as it is on fire, i have had an mri and blood test which came back clear, no medication works, what could this be?
Headaches or migraines are caused when there is dilation of the blood vessels in the head. This usually happens because of a trigger factor. Some trigger factors include - Sunlight Bright light loud sounds Any other irritant factor or anything under the sun!
There are many ways to treat migraines but here are a few things that can help - Drink lots of water Take warm showers Use an ice pack over the head Sleep more than 8 hours a day Take an OTC painkiller Use steam inhalation Massage the head Take a warm bath Eat a balanced diet Avoid too little or too much exercise
I hope this helps. Please reach out if you have any other questions.
