I was born with only 1 thyroid gland and been taking either synthroid or levoxyl all my life, until I was switched to levoythyoxrine some years ago. Since then my health has been going downhill - am 40+ lbs overweight, more hair on the floor than on me, have had a few seizures and the dosage is always being changed. Is there some information I can get to show a PCP what medication I need as they won t listen...

Be careful to take the brand which is effective and take the recommended dose regularly.Do not change the formulation.Take it in the morning preferably 1 hour before breakfast.Do consult your doctor before taking any other drug as it may interfere with thyroxine.
