What Is The Normal Blood Pressure Level?

I am taking atenolol 25 mg 2 x day for SVT and my blood pressure is very low. It is 87/54 with slight dizzy spells. I am also taking ibuprofen which I see has an interaction with atenolol but, my understanding is that it should not lower my blood pressure. What blood pressure level would be considered dangerous to my health?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Blood pressure below 100/70 is considered low and can cause dizziness. Kindly discuss with your doctor as this needs dose adjustment of Atenolol.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
