What Is The Numbness In My Arms After Getting Cured From Flu?

I came down with severe flu symptoms on Sunday starting with high fever (102+) and chills, now have the cough, sore throat, body aches to boot..finally got the fever under control after sweating it out numerous times but my hands are both somewhat numb. Is this par for the course?
