What Is The Numbness In The Penis Tip After Oral Sex?

Hi i had unprotected oral sex and a week later i have a sort of numb or cold sensation in the tip of my penis its not really painful and there is no discharge or rash i have had this before and got an sti test which was negative. Have you any ideas why i have got this sensation, thanks

Hello,

You are suffering from numbness in the penis tip after oral sex. It can be due to underlying physical and emotional issues. The male body has many nerve endings in the penis that send sensory information to the brain about pleasure. But when sex sessions are long these nerves become temporarily compressed, resulting in temporary numbness.

Sensation should return in a few minutes to a few hours. However, dehydration, sleep deprivation and alcohol can make this numbing worse. Avoid addiction of any kind. If numbness persists it is concerning, get examined by a urologist as it may be due to factors like nerve damage, cardiovascular issues, diabetes or a neurological emergency like a stroke or cerebral hemorrhage.
