Wife has sharp pain on left mastoid bone. It is a sharp pain lasting for a few seconds, and then goes away. She is getting ready for a trip to Canada this Friday. Should she go to an ear, throat and nose doctor before we go? She said her ear and throat feels fine, and is hesitating to go to a doctor because she wants to go on the trip. Could lack to sleep be a cause? She is 73 and in excellent shape. Thank you, Paul Preiksa
