What Is The Painful Lump Behind My Ear When On Fluoxicillin?
Hi I have painful small lump behind my ear and today I'm on my 5th day of fluoxicillin what the doctor prescribed me and she said if it's not gone by the end of course of anti biotics they will have to investigate what does this mean please and what could it be as it hasn't gone?

hi dear friend,the most common cause for such swelling is infection of lymph node.the source of infection could be oral/nasal/ear cavity.if they don't resolve and keep on enlarging with or without pain then, they may be removed(BIOPSY) and send to pathology lab . i am hopeful you will get better with medication. take care
