ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,
Some of the most common causes for persistent nose block are allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, deviated nasal septum.
Otrivin is not a solution for persistent nose block. Excessive use of otrivin causes reflex congestion leading to increased nose block.
Otrivin should not be used for more than 5 days at a time.
Do not worry. See an ENT specialist for the correct diagnosis and treatment of your condition.
Dont hesitate to contact us again,
Regards, Dr Kishori.
