What Is The Precautionary Procedure Before A Colonoscopy?

I am due to have a colonoscopy my doc suggested I take GaviLyte-G gosh it makes a whole gallon I tend to vomit when I take this stuff. My friend whose doc said she could take Gator AIDS 32 oz buy 2 of them to which you add a bottle of Marlax powder(you devide a bottle in 2 put half in each Gator AIDS) put yourself on a liquid diet 2-3 days before colonoscopy during all Gator aid the day before What do you think
