What Is The Precipitous Nerve?

What is the persipitous nerve? My sister was having very bad headaches and this is the diagnosis she received. Very painful. The hospital gave her pills to take and if they don't work she'll have to get shots for this. I didn't find much info on the net about this. Can you please help me? Thanks very much....
