hello Doctor, i am Sai 27yrs old male from Chennai. i got married two and half years back. we were planned to have a kid after two years. from the last six months we are trying for a kid. but my wife is not getting conceived. she is one year elder than me. now an Ayurvedic doctor asked me to go for Semen analysis. kindly tell me the procedure and cost for semen analysis in chennai. i would like to know what are the preparations i should take before i go for semen analysis.

Welcome to HCM.
It is necessary to avoid sex for at least 5 days before giving semen for test.
You have to give semen immediately after masturbate in the tube given by laboratory.
Also take care for local hygiene.
Charges for semen analysis is differs from city to city and even from lab. to lab.
Take proper guidance from your treating doctor.
