Please type your query here...Hi Doc,am a 20yrs old final year Nursing student.I was asked to research on microscopic culture and sensitivity of sptum,blood,urine and faeces.So i want to know the definition,indications and method of carrying out M.C.S.

This is complete text that gives every detail or say complete study material which is not possible to discuss here, still I would give some brief which may be helpful to you, first of all the organism being cultured from the given sample these could any human body fluids, drop of sample being kept in special culture disk with specific culture medium, if the sample contains any organism then this goes on increasing in numbers, then this being identified and tested for drug resistance and sensitivity, hope this information helps, take care.
