What Is The Procedure For The Throat Laser Surgery To Remove The Scar Tissue?
My husband will be undergoing throat laser surgery to remove scar tissue from being on a ventilator and a trach. He has already undergone the dilation procedure, which did not last very long (2 months?). Just wondering what is involved for this procedure.

throat laser for removing scar is just like burning the scar tissue formed with laser in order to increase the lumen of the trachea. stenosis due to chronic intubation has to be dealt with surgery, there is no other option
