What Is The Prognosis For Being Palliative After Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Surgery?

my husband has been diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcenoma in the lung. he has had surgery to remove the tumour. the pathology results have identified there are stil cancerous cells in the remaining upper lobe and they have advised him he is palliative. can you tell me a probable prognosis

Hello dear. It is an uncommon type of tumor. As the surgery was less than adequate he will require chemotherapy as well as radiotherapy. The overall prognosis is difficult to predict but not good. Hope that makes you understand
