What Is The Prognosis For Fast Spreading Small Cell Lung Cancer?
I have a 61 year old cousin who was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in the spring of 2013. This appeared to have disappeared with chemotherapy as of a few months ago. Very recently, however, he had a CAT scan, and cancer is now back in his lungs, as well as in his neck, one of his shoulder bones and in his adrenal glands. Without knowing any more specifics than these, which are all that I was given by his daughter, does he have a reasonable chance to beat the cancer? Thanks!
