What Is The Prognosis For Fasting Blood Sugar Levels Of 8.2?

Hi Doctor, I did my blood test with glucometer this morning(fasting) and it was 6.8 and had my breakfast and did the test again after 2 hrs and it is 8.2. I am not using any medication for the past two months. How bad is the situation? Kindly advise. Regards
