What Is The Prognosis For Full Body Edema And Reduced Creatinine Level While On Lasix For Now While Having A History Of CKD, HTN, CAD And Diabetes?
Hi, my mother is a CKD(3yrs ),HTN(2yrs),CAD(4yrs),T2DM(26yrs) patient she is all well but ,recently his createnine value is 7.62, also have full body edema the doctor stopped all medicines only lisax 80mg injectible is advised. His createnine value is increasing with time, what step we should take next.
Your mother is having CKD along with CAD, T2DM and HT. Even, with use of Injection Lasix, if her creatinine is increasing, this shows, that the kidney is undergoing in renal failure. In such a situation, I will advise you, to consult some nephrologist about this. He may suggest you to put the patient on dialysis or even a kidney transplant may be advised depending on the condition and feasibility of the patient for it.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
