What Is The Prognosis For Palpitations Of Chest Based On This X-ray Report?
I was sent to ER from Urgent care with Chest palpitations. There was nothing significant in the Urgent care findings except LBBB and Sinus bradycardia (which I am not sure is important) In the ER I was told that I was not having a heart attack evidenced through blood work and EKG. I was told that it may be related to a questionable condition that I have called brachial plexus injury/Nuerogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The chest X Ray is what has me curious. The findings were minimal osteophytes on the thoracic. I was recently diagnosed with cervical retrolisthesis on levels cervical disc herniation s and permanent cervical spine instability. This causes great pain. Most recent interesting findings to me is (Left) lateral view obscured by soft tissue of the anterior mediastinum . Does that just mean I am fleshy or is that an abnormal finding? Could it be scar tissue (it did not read scar tissue it read soft tissue). That area is exquisitely painful since a chest trauma and I was wondering if the findings held any clues of why I have continued chest wall pain.

What Is The Prognosis For Palpitations Of Chest Based On This X-ray Report?
Hello, * As per my clinical experience, the palpitaton is pertaining to alterations in the cardiac conduction pathway homeostasis. * The chest x-ray indicative of anterior mediastinum soft tissue may be part of lymph node enlargement, tumor or else. * However a CT scan with contrast is best indicated in case evaluation of mediastinal doubtful lesion. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
