I had a gall bladder attack, my GP sent me to a gall bladder specialist who in turn sent me for an ultrasound. The results showed severe inflammation. The gall bladder was measured 3x the normal size. The doctor planned surgery to remove the gall bladder as an out patient. But when the surgery began there was a mass I believe the greater omen yum, and the gall bladder was inside the mass. There were other organs stuck to the mass. The doctor and colleges agreed to to close the 13 inch incision and put me on Augmentin to bring the inflammation down. Out of 2 CT scans, biopsies, and another procedure which I had by a gastroenterologist today there is NO sign of cancer. The general decision is a very severe case of inflammation. I will hear from my original lead doctor on Monday. What do you think should be the plan of action? I feel well, the doctors cannot believe I am not sicker.
