What Is The Prognosis Of A Patient Diagnosed With Congestive Heart Failure?

My mother in law will be moving in with us this week. We found out recently she has CHF, but we have no idea how long it s been since she was diagnosed. It is unclear whether she deliberately did not tell us, if she s in denial, or if she just didn t hear it. Anyway, I am trying to figure out what I should keep an eye on and what to expect with her long term prognosis/decline. Thank you, Kathy
