Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What is the survival rate for a squamous cell cancer that starts on te skin near the collarbone, goes to 4 lymph nodes in the neck but no where else, and is treated with surgery, radiation, and chemo? Never mind, I thought this was a free service, I will never bother you again. You guys have some fucking nerve.
Most people diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma have a very good prognosis. When caught early and removed, this skin cancer has an excellent cure rate.
In general, the squamous cell carcinoma survival rate is very high. That’s because a cure is often possible, especially if the cancer is detected at an early stage.
Even if squamous cell carcinoma has spread to nearby lymph nodes, the cancer may be effectively treated through a combination of surgery and radiation treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
