What Is The Prognosis Of Diffuse Large B Cell Type Lymphoma?

How long does it take non hodgkins lymphoma to reach stage 3 I have what is called diffuse large B cell type Lymphoma the aggressive type. I also have been diagnosed with severe Cornary Artery Disease, need a by-pass but because of the cancer no doctor will touch me. and I am worried about the upcoming Chemo treatments I will be haveing CHOP, can you tell me if there is a possibility of more heart damage during chemo I am 54 yrs old 5'2 159 lbs history of type two diabetes, high chlosterol, hypertention, asthma.

Goodevening. There is no way to predict how long will it take to reach stage 3. I will advise you to get bypass surgery first do that your heart gets strength for chemotherapy. If the cardiac function is normal then we can go by CHOP CHEMOTHERAPY. however if it is not normal then some other regimen like CLOP or R CVP can be given which are less cardio toxic. The prognosis of DLBCL is good , so not to worry.
