What Is The Prognosis Of Leukemia?
my frind is diagnossed Leukemia and is presently admitted in Tata Memorial Hospital. Tests revelas that she has been affected 65% and survival level is not that bright. Current she is undergoing chemotherapy and occassionally blood also is given to her. Any advice on her survival etc.

Prognosis depends on type and stage of leukemia. Many other factors like age, blast percentage other co morbid conditions play the role. Treatment is chemotherapy according to type of leukemia. Bone marrow transplantation is also helpful. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
