What Is The Prognosis Of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Patient Who Has Developed Pneumonia And On Ventilator?

patient with non-Hodgkins lymphoma tx with chemo, developed pneumonia, had difficulty breathing with stridor, admitted to ER, tx with antibiotics, had tracheostomy, 4 days later her WBC is very low, on mechanical ventilator. What is the problem and prognosis?

Hello dear. The patient of lymphoma who has developed pneumonia an is on ventilatory support is very sick. He requires aggressive management with the help of antibiotics and organ support systems. Prognosis is poor in such cases.
