My Dr wants me to be tested for Ferritin 1000 tests HFE gene test Iron studies Fe/IBC C reactive Protein ESR Electrolytes Ferritin Liver Function Screen (LFTs) can you tell me what they are for please

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
you may have symptoms of hemochromatosis. Ferritine stufy and hfe gene mutation is for diagnosis of hemochromatosis. CRP and ESR is to check inflammation and liver function screen is to check liver affected or not by hemochromatosis.
