What Is The Reason For Brown Discharge?

Me and my partner were having sex and the condom came off inside me but im on the pill and got the condom out as soon as possible and now two days later I have brown discharge and also a bit of yellow it isn t happening any more but it happened just one time when I used the restroom

Thanks for writing to us.

If you are on the regular birth control pill and took those pill on scheduled time, then chance of pregnancy is extremely LOW to RARE (less than 1%) in this case though condom came off.

Brown discharge may be due to old endometrial tissue, pelvic or vaginal infection, hormonal imbalance, effect of pill, stress etc.

Maintain genital hygiene properly and wait for next coming period. Do one home pregnancy test if you miss your period to clear doubt.
