What Is The Reason For Coughing Up Blood?

Hello Sir, my age is 25 and i am complete non-smoker and non- drinker, from past two weeks, sometimes i cough blood streaked mucous, its not regular but one or two times, i also feel throat dryness and little pain in my throat. i took a cough syrup but it did not help i do not have any red or white patch. I am very tensed. please help me its urgent! thanks.

Hello,

It is necessary consulting with an ENT specialist for a physical exam. Some tests are needed too:

- a chest X-ray study
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation.
