Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.
Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query
Spinning of the head, or
vertigo can be due to a huge number of reasons. And it would be quite inappropriate to say I can tell you the cause exactly. I will however explain to you what the possibilities are
1. There is a simple possibility that you ar not having enough fluids and electrolytes. Just this simple thing may actually cause you to have a lot of vertigo, and sometimes even
nausea, when you try to get up.
2. there is the possibility that you may have had low blood pressure or sugar (the query is silent about prior medical history- so i am just guessing). Again taking fluids specially juices may help you to feel better
3. The possibility that there might have been a
stroke has to be ruled out in this case considering the sudden appearance of the symptoms. And no, stroke need not always be associated with
paralysis. So please do get an
MRI brain as soon as possible. Or at least meet a
neurologist, who can so a complete examination.
The list is not comprehensive or exhaustive. these are just the commonest things that are usually seen in such cases
I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.
