What Is The Reason For Having Puss After Sex?

I went to the sexual health clinic today and they done some swabs. They then took it into the labortory to look underneath the microscope and found a small amount of puss that I expierenced after sex they was not able to disguingish whether it was a std he said it was puss cells so my question is what do you think it could be? Have had pre-cancer cells removed at a grade on CIN3.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing to us,
I read your query,

I have noticed that you have been reported as having pus cells in swap culture.it is usually normal to have 2 to 4 pus cells in a given field, most of them are degenerated wbc (immune cells).

I wonder how many pus cells you are saying, if you have any bacteria or fungi cultured from your swab, then you have to look for VDRL reports, otherwise it is absolutely normal.

Hope helped you, feel free to ask if you have any doubts.

Take care.
