What Is The Reason For Having Round Welts Throughout The Body?

My son had a couple of round welts on his side last night. Today he had a couple on another part of his body. Now he has several on both of his lags. They appear and then go away within and hour. It doesn't appear to be bites. He hasn't been taking any medication and he hasn't eaten anything that he hasn't had before. Any idea what might be causing this?

Hi,
After reading your query I can make out that your son is suffering form urticaria. It is a simple problem of hypersensitivity to multiple of allergens coming in contact whether by food or inhalation or environmental changes. You just check out for these things in preceding two hours of occurrence of welts.
You can give benadryl or laratadine or cetrizine according to the age of your son under medical guidance.
