What Is The Reason For Heavy Periods When On Birth Control?

hi i was wondering if you could give me some insight! i am on birth control its junel and i been on it since march, the past few times Ive had sex i bled for a day or two (not heavy) and my past 2 periods have been heavier (kinda what they use to be before I started pill) im really scared
