What Is The Reason For Itching On Thighs And Stomach?
Hi there! I m 19 and healthy, other than my anemia and Celiac disease. Since I ve been gluten free, my anemia has gotten better. For the past month I have had itching everywhere, mainly on my thighs and stomach which is also causing tons of little and big bruises. I went to the doctor and she said I was itching too hard- still unsure of what could be making me itch. No bites or dry skin. The bruises are lasting a while for each one then more has been appearing.. I also have had a pinched nerve in my right leg for the past week, only in the mornings after driving to work. I go back to a specialist January 2nd, but for now... Any ideas?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that the itching may be due to the utricaria, an allergic reaction, may be caused by the food, clothes, wool, etc. Try avoiding one by one you are using regularly, and observe by avoiding which you are having relief and then avoid it for ever. The pinched nerve could be due to the sciatica, or arthritis of the hip joint. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to aid recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.

Hello, Thanks for the query, You might have developed fungal infection. The area of groin around inner thighs is very moist and is prone to develop these infections. Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals. Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe. These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection. Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
