hi h r u? My name is Ramani just now i got my ultrascan result its result having There is a small amount of free fluid in the pouch of Douglas. this is danger any problem for pregnent now i am planning for baby please tell me. why i got this fluid? thank you

Hi. fluid in POD can be due to any pelvic infection. So, if you are planning a pregnancy, then get it treated first and take a course of antibiotics from your dr.However, a small amount of free fluid is also normally present especially at the time of ovulation and needs no treatment. In some cases it indicates endometriosis.consult your treating dr. and correlate with her findings.
