What Is The Reason For Prolonged Excessive Menstrual Bleeding With Clotting, Flutters In Stomach, Bloating, Gas, Sore Breasts?

i have had excesive menstrual bleeding for two months straight with clotting, flutters in my stomach, bloating, gas, hepc positive, im on implanon birth control and the 3 yrs is nearly up. i also recently got over a bad cold but have this lingering cough. My breasts are much larger than usual and very sore. I have acne now and i am 29 yrs old

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

The most likely explanation for the breast symptoms, acne and irregular bleeding is that the implanon is reaching the end of its effectiveness. Just like the Depo shot, once your cycle is "unleashed" ovulation occurs irregularly enough that the result is very irregular bleeding. Check a pregnancy test and talk with your doctor about regular birth control pills to get your bleeding under control.
