What Is The Reason For Random Dizzy Spells?

I am a 19 year old female in average-good physical condition, today I have been having random dizzy spells and blacking out for maybe half a second at a time, I've never experienced this before and don't know what could be the cause. I ate a full meal about two hours ago and it's not hot outside or anything... What's wrong with me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Such type of dizziness after 2 hours of meal may be due to these reasons.
1 hypotension , as this is most common cause of such dizziness because blood rush towards intestine for digestive purposes and this is natural and not a cause of concern , so no need of any consultation.
2 Anemia , may be the another reason of such dizziness . Diagnosis can be confirmed by hemoglobin examination .
3 Tension or anxiety ,another cause .
However , there are so many other reasons, but you mentioned that you are healthy and in good health , so no need of any worry.
If this occurs repeatedly then consult a physician .
However ,sometimes such type of dizziness may be due to ear infection.
