What Is The Recovery Time For L1 Fracture?

Hi, I was in a MVA 3 month ago, have a severe L1 fracture in 2 places, finally was treated by an osteo surgeon, and am wearing a TLSO brace, instead of the cash brace, and the current treatment is rest, pain management. How long will it take for the pain to subside? and is there anything i can do to assist in quicker healing?
