What Is The Recovery Time For Nerve Injury In Foot?

hi, i have a nerve injury at my left foot. actually i slipped in market n my left knee patella has fractured now it has been operated then my foot becomes numb but it has been around 8 months now i m seeing some improvements in my senses at my foot so i just wanna to know that how much more time it will take around n what more should i do to improve it?
