What Is The Recurrent Itchy Bump On The Knee?

i have an itchy bump on my knee that doesn't heal, since last year. I saw a doctor, got an injection and it disappeared for about 2 months. However it came back and its still itchy. Could it be associated to something more serious in my body? I'm really worried.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It seems to be lichen simplex chronicus. It is a chronic type of eczema. It doesn’t seem to be a serious condition.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
