What Is The Remedy For A Sore Throat With Nauseous And A History Of Acid Reflux?

I have had a sore throat for weeks...including swollen glands, dryness and sharp pains occasionally. I also feel tired and occasionally nauseous. Could this be from a vitamin deficiency? The doctor I saw said to take Prevacid because I have a history of acid reflux, but this seems to make my throat feel worse

Hi, You seem to be having reflux and this can lead to pharyngitis. The swollen glands and dryness, pain all can be because of this. Vitamin deficiency usually does not lead to this set of symptoms. a course of proton pump inhibitors with antiseptic gargles should solve your problem. Regards
