What Is The Remedy For Coughing With Brown Spots On My Tonsils?
I have been coughing for about a month. It was a little coughing here and there and now it has turned to a hacking, knocks you out of breath cough. Anytime I start laughing I start coughing. there is also a faint light light brown spot on my tonsils and recently my throat is hurting non stop.
There are different possible causes for your persistent coughing such as: (1) post viral cough- if you recently had the cold or flu, it is possible that your coughing is related to the post viral cough. A cough can persist up to 6 weeks in a person with a recent cough and cold.
(2) post nasal drip - this is a common cause of persistent cough
(3) gastroesophageal reflux disease
(4)asthma
You can consider the use of a topical steroidnasal spray which would help if it is related to post nasal drip. An oral antihistamine/ decongestant combination may also be helpful.
I hope this helps
