What Is The Remedy For Dizziness With High Blood Pressure?

Well, occasionally I have a dizzy spell. Nothing major but concerning. I am 5 9 , 175 lbs,, 62 years old and fairly fit and active. It occurs out of the blue and not necessarily from quickly getting up. I do suffer from high blood pressure but take Coversyl (8 mg daily).

First thing I need to know since when you are taking that medicine for your high BP. Because with coversyl initially you may get sudden dizziness on getting up but it will subsequently get corrected on long term use. Another explanation of your symptoms may be due to some underlying heart block, for which you need to undergo at least an ECG and if required detail cardiac investigations. If I were your treating physician I would have suggested you to consult a cardiologist for further work up. Hope I have answered your queries.
