What Is The Remedy For Hives When On Oxicontin?

I have been on Oxicontin for 2 years for back and hip pain (20mg extended release). I the last 6 months he gave me Norco10mg once a day for Quick results as I wake in Am!. I have Hives/welts All over my arms...very uncomfortable, itchy, bleed!..My Hubs
thinks Im allergic to my Body sprays/Perfume! Ive quit Using Them. Ive Slathered My arms in Straight ALOE PLANT SLIME for week, without using body sprays, they went away.... now their Back in Full revenge! Im So Scared its the Narcotics that are perscribed!..I Cant do Without Them!!...What should I do?

Hi,

You seem to suffer from chronic urticaria. You should be investigated to find out the cause. The drug you take may be responsible. You cosult dermatologist. If some cause is found, it may be treated. If drug is responsible, take other substitute after discussing with your doctor. Antihistaminics like desloratidine or fexofenadine may be taken for long time. Short course of steroids may be considered. I think you may be alright. I hope you got my answer.
