What Is The Remedy For Pimple Like Rashes When On Prednisone?
I went to urgent care for a pimply rash that started three months ago. I am the only one in my family with symptoms. I've taken prednisone, parasite cream, on the recommendation of the doctor. My symptoms got worse. I went to my General practitioner he said eczema, I've been moisturizing like crazy. My symptoms are still there and spreading. I have not changed anything in my routine as far as laundry soap, hair products etc. what is going on? I itch like crazy, with a pimply rash?

I would have liked to know the site of the rashes, which you have'nt mentioned.
I would keep a possibility of eczematous dermatitis considering that it is itchy. My second possibility would have been scabies, but considering that you have already applied an anti-parasitci cream, so i am ruling it out.
In such a case I usually ask my patients to apply a topical steroid+antibiotic combination cream twice daily for 2 weeks along with an oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine for symptomatic relief.
