What Is The Remedy For The Chlamydia, Still Having Pain In The Pelvic Region And White Discharge With Itching?
hi I found out I had chlamydia & got treated right away that was about 2-3weeks ago . I don't have the pain in my pelvic region anymore but I still have the smelly , white milky discharge . i still itch soooo bad down there & I do not shave what's so ever . i have had no sexual contact with anyone , at all . why is this still happening ? is there a chance the treatment isn't working ? I'm worried because how long I went without getting treated . I just want to feel clean & want the treatment to work . please help !

HI, Chlamydia is a bacterial infection ( Bacterium chlamydia trachomatis )that is transmitted by vaginal/oral/mouth sex. In females the infection may remain asymptomatic for many months in the beginning. So even sex in past might have carried the infection. .Still you should get your vaginal swab tested for chlamydia. if it is +ve, get also sensitivity test done, which will indicate the drug to which the bacterial strain is sensitive to. This will path showing in cure of the condition.usually both sex partners are treated at same time. If you never had sex anytime, it seems to be impossible in your case. in such case also microscopic test/Culture will expose the causative organism, making a clear diagnosis & treatment. Thanks.
