What Is The Remedy For The Severe Sore Throat And Always Have Saliva In The Mouth?

I have a severe sore throat with salive always in my mouth and starting feel the pain around my ear. I took ibuprofen and I get better for fews hours after that it become worse , I took alka seltzer ,chloroplastic spray but ,honey tea but is still worse .please I need a help and I am international student who just arrive in usa

Hi.

Thank you for writing to HCM. I read the question and understand your concern.

I think that you have a throat infection. Here are a few things that you can do to help you with this:
Drink lots of water
Inhale steam to clear the nasal passages
Gargle with warm salt water to help you

If the infection does not go away after a 5 days, then you need to see a doctor to get antibiotics.
