What Is The Remedy For Trigeminal Neuralgia?

I have major pain in my neck and the lymph nodes are very swollen. It has progressed and my PCP keeps telling me it's nothing. I have also been recently dignosed with trigeminal neuralgia and at times when it really hurts, my left ear goes numb. Any ideas of what to do?
